Christmas

We had such a wonderful Christmas! This Christmas season has been so much fun with Ella, she is at the age where she really understands what Christmas is all about! On Christmas Eve, we went over to my sisters house and had a yummy dinner, then the kids all took part in the Nativity play. This was the first year they have done this. They all looked so cute, and did such a good job!After the play we had donuts and milk and watched a Christmas movie. Christmas morning we woke up super early and headed over to Chad's parents house. They always make Christmas so wonderful and so much fun. As soon as we were done with presents, the kids played a little, then it was off to my parents for my dad's traditional Christmas breakfast. My mom and dad always work so hard preparing breakfast. It is sooo yummy!We all look forward to it all year:) After breakfast we opened presents, and the kids enjoyed playing out in the rain. I am so thankful for this special day we have to celebrate the birth of our savior.

Lots of Birthdays!

We had three birthdays in my family this week! My brother in law's was the 13th, my brothers was the 15th, and I turned the big 28 yesterday! Yikes, I'm getting old! We started off the birthday celebrations on Monday night at NYPD pizza with the whole Moody family. It was so delicious, and we had such a fun time! On Tuesday (my b-day) we went to Cheesecake Factory with the whole Huber family. After, we went back to Chad's parents for cake and ice cream. Thank you to everyone for your gifts, cards, phone calls, e-mails, text messages etc. You made my birthday so special and wonderful! I love you all so much!

Love to see the temple

We have already been to see the temple lights with both of our families, already twice this season! We just can't get enough:) The kids just love it too! We will probably be going again soon. There is no better place to be than the temple surrounded by the people you love! Happy Holidays!

After temple lights we went back to my parents house for hot chocolate, donuts, and chili. My mom puts this little tree out for the kids to decorate every year.

Good Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving, especially since we thought we would be spending Thanksgiving alone at our house. Our whole family has been so so sick with the flu for the past 6 days:( Who has ever heard of the 6 day flu?!? It was a living nightmare!It was so hard because all 4 of us had it at the same time! We were all luckily feeling a little better on Thanksgiving and were able to spend it with our families. It was such a fun, relaxing day and of course the food was amazing! In honor of Thanksgiving I wanted to list some of the many things I am THANKFUL for:

* Our wonderful families
* Motherhood
* The Gospel
* That my kids are finally over the flu:)
* A nice warm bed to sleep in
* A husband who works so hard to provide for us
* 2 healthy children
* Yummy Thanksgiving food:)

I always feel like I have to include pictures in my posts, here are a few I took on Thanksgiving:

Happy 5 Years

Today, Chad and I celebrate half a decade of being married! I can't even believe it! Some days it feels like we have already been married for 20 years, but most of the time it feels like we just got married yesterday. I am so thankful to have Chad in my life, he does so much for our family. He is the person I want to spend the rest of my life and eternity with, and I am so glad he is the father of my children. I love you so much Chad, Happy Anniversary!

HAPPY 5 YEARS!!!!

We celebrated our anniversary last night in Fountain Hills. We stayed at a resort called The Inn at Eagle Mountain. Chad arranged everything, and he did such a great job. He proposed to me at the fountain in Fountain Hills, so that is why he wanted to stay there. We went to a yummy Steakhouse called "Water's Edge", which was right across from the fountain. After dinner we took a walk by the fountain and reminisced. We had such a great evening together, what a great way to celebrate 5 years together!
